Online seminar details
Participants should plan to log into the course room at least one time a week to read the weekly lecture and if assigned, other readings as required by the course instructor. A weekly posting of an online response and a one-page reflection paper within two weeks from the end of the seminar is also required for certification.

Weekly time requirements for a continuing education seminar include two to three hours per week and one hour for the reflection paper. Seminars earn 1 CEU or 10 clock hours with a certificate sent upon completion of the seminar. If you are working on a catechist certificate in your diocese, you can use the CDU certificate for appropriate application toward certification.
