Students who complete this program should be
able to:
- Synthesize the essential and fundamental content
of Catholic Doctrine,
- Explain the twelve Articles of the Creed,
with increased understanding,
- Study Sacred Scripture using essential
scriptural concepts,
- Describe the nature of the Church and the
rights and duties of the laity for furthering the mission
of Jesus Christ,
- Identify with greater precision the foundations
of Catholic morality and its applications in his or her
life,
- Incorporate sacramental theology within the work
of catechesis,
- Integrate catechetical principles and methods
for faithful catechesis particularly, in the work of directing
religious education programs, and
- Use an increased
understanding of the proper relationship of prayer, and
doctrinal truths to influence daily living.
