General Information:
CDU Online Seminars provide:
- short, convenient, and inexpensive distance learning for adult evangelization and enrichment in the Faith through an interactive online environment;
- online technology to provide formation and certification opportunities for catechists throughout the world;
- a learning experience for adults that develops their faith in the environment of a Christian community;
- an education that is faithful to the Magisterium of the Church.
These three-week interactive online seminars can be accessed day or night at your convenience. Participants will:
- learn from experts in their respective fields through a weekly presentation;
- respond to a weekly reflection question;
- paricipate in online discussions with other students;
- have an opportunity to present questions to the instructor;
- be invited to visit our chapel for meditation and prayer;
- meet and exchange ideas with participants from all over the English speaking world.

Participant Requirements:
Requirements for the seminar include:
- logging on to the Conference Site at least once a week to read the weekly keynote address
- reading excerpts that may be required by the Instructor
- responding online to the reflection question each week
- submitting a one-page reflection paper within 3 weeks from the end of the Seminar for those who wish to receive Certification (1 CEU or 13 Clock Hours)
Minimum Time Requirement:
- 3 hours each week = 9 hours
- 1 hour for reflection paper
Seminar Certificate:
A Certificate of Completion awarding 1 CEU/10 clock hours will be sent upon completion of the reflection paper. The certificate can be taken to your respective diocese for appropriate application toward certification.
