    • Catechists and Catholic School Teachers from across the country and around the world.
    • Any adults who would like to learn more about The Catholic Response to The Da Vinci Code.

  2. Will it matter that I have no formal background in Sacred Scripture or computer technology?
No, you do not need any previous formal study of Sacred Scripture, or previous training with online services. Our Help Desk explains how to "Navigate around the Conference Site". Technical support is always available. Our previous participants have had no prior experience and learn quickly and successfully to navigate the seminar areas.

  3. What does interactive mean?
Exactly that - you interact online with the instructor and your fellow participants. Some examples of this are:
    • Introducing yourself as you would in any casual setting. In a short paragraph describe where you live, what you teach, your parish, etc.
    • During the seminar, you will "post" your response to a given reflection question. This will be shared with the other participants as they will share their reflections with you.
    • If you have questions for the instructor, you can post them and he will respond to you. You can read the questions of other participants as well. This is like being in a classroom and listening to the discussion between the teacher and other students. Each entry will be identified by the name of the contributor. The seminar automatically posts the date and time of the entry so you can follow the sequence of the conversations.
    • Our "chat room" called Coffee on the Porch provides a casual environment for you to address comments to other participants. Whenever you post a response, your name will appear with a link to your e-mail address to enable you to send messages directly to others.
    • If you want to communicate directly or privately with any of the instructors or with another seminar participant, you can use e-mail. Within any post, when you click on a person's name (in blue), there is a hyperlink to his/her e-mail address. If you don't want your comments made available to the group, please use email.

  4. How will I have contact with the Faculty?
You will have a chance to interact with the instructor by posting questions that will be answered online. The instructor will log on daily and respond to your questions; you can always send specific questions via email.
