The Advanced Catechist Certificate will be awarded for completing the following series of Continuing Education Courses within four (4) years. This certificate will represent coursework which exceeds what most dioceses require for catechetical certification. Application forms for and information about the Advanced Catechist Certificate Program may be obtained from CDU.
In the Diocese of Arlington, anyone who receives a CDU Advanced Catechist Certificate will qualify for the Diocesan Advanced Level Certificate. CDU works with dioceses to assist in the training and certifying of their catechists. We encourage you to check with your diocesan director of catechetics about the attaining catechist certification through CDU.
